Information and Documentation Management Officer

PPID stands for Information and Documentation Management Officer, whose role is to manage and provide access to documents owned by public institutions in accordance with Law No. 14 of 2008 on Public Information Disclosure.
With the presence of PPID, the public can submit information requests more easily and without complicated procedures, as all services are handled through a single access point.
The Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) is the official responsible for storing, documenting, providing, and/or delivering public information within a public institution.

CLASSIFICATION OF PUBLIC INFORMATION

The classification of public information is the process of determining certain information as Exempt Information in accordance with Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure.

SOP FOR PUBLIC INFORMATION REQUEST SERVICES

  1. Information and documentation applicants may visit www.ppid.poltekparmakassar.ac.id or come directly to the Public Relations Office of Makassar Polytechnic of Tourism.
    • Applicants who come in person are requested to take a queue number according to the type of public service requested.
    • Applicants must fill in their personal identity in the guest data form provided by the public service officer.
  2. Applicants are required to complete the request form and attach a photocopy of their identification (ID card/Driver’s License/Passport) at the information center located at:
    • Makassar Polytechnic of Tourism Rectorate Building, Jl. Gunung Rinjani No. 1, Kota Mandiri Tanjung Bunga – Makassar 90224, Operational Hours: Monday–Thursday: 08.00–16.00 WITA, Friday: 08.00–16.30 WITA, Saturday–Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed, Break Time: 12.00–13.00 WITA
    • Alternatively, applicants may fill out the PPID service form via the microsite www.ppid.poltekparmakassar.ac.id, which consists of:
      • Personal data: name, address, phone number, ID number, photocopy/scan of identification.
      • Requested information details: subject, source, information format (verbal, soft copy, or hard copy), and the reason for requesting it.
  3. The completed information request form must be submitted to the information service officer, and the applicant will receive a registration number.
  4. The public information/PPID officer will verify the request based on the information and documentation services related to the duties and functions of Makassar Polytechnic of Tourism.
  5. PPID has the right to approve or reject the request based on applicable laws and regulations.
  6. The public service officer will process the request as follows:
    • If the information is available in the data bank and on the website, and is not classified as exempt information, the information will be provided immediately to the applicant and recorded in the Information Request Register.
    • If the information is classified as exempt, the information service officer will provide an explanation that the requested information cannot be disclosed.
    • If the information is not available in the public information list in the data bank or on the website, the officer will inform the applicant.
  7. Processing Time:
    • Direct request: Information available in the data bank or on the website can be provided immediately.
    • Information not available in the data bank or on the website will be processed within 10 (ten) working days from the receipt of the written request and may be extended for 7 (seven) working days with written notification if the information requires further preparation.
  8. Applicants may collect the requested information at the scheduled time by presenting a copy of the information request letter and identification.
  9. Applicants who submit requests via the microsite www.ppid.poltekparmakassar.ac.id will receive email notifications regarding the progress of their PPID request.
  10. Service Guarantees:
    • Information provided is fast, accurate, and accountable.
    • Information is guaranteed to be authentic and compliant with applicable laws, unless stated otherwise.
    • Safety and security of the service are ensured, providing applicants with reliable and risk-free information validity.
  11. Information service officers will deliver the public information and request the applicant to sign the information receipt form.
  12. Fees / Charges:
    • No service fees are charged.
    • Document reproduction costs are borne by the applicant.
  13. Documents not collected by the deadline will be archived by the information service unit.
  14. Applicants may submit a written objection to PPID if they are not satisfied with PPID’s response.
  15. Applicants may file an information dispute with the Central Information Commission if: PPID does not respond to the objection within 30 working days, or the applicant is not satisfied with PPID’s response.
  16. Applicants are requested to complete the survey polling.
