Diploma IV in Tour and Travel Business Study Programme

The Travel and Tourism Business (UPW) Diploma 4 programme is one of the study programmes under the Travel Department at the Makassar Tourism Polytechnic. Students acquire competencies in professional ethics, domestic and international ticket reservations, the development of inbound and outbound tourism packages, the marketing and sales of tourism products, the guidance of international tourists, and the handling of tourist arrivals and departures via airports or terminals.

The learning facilities utilise two practice buses to visit leading tourist attractions, “ABACUS and Galileo Ticket Reservation System”. The Travel Business Study Programme has also collaborated with the Association of Indonesian Travel Agencies (ASITA) and the Indonesian Tour Guide Association (HPI).

Setelah menyelesaikan program pendidikan ini, lulusan memiliki kompetensi mengelola bisnis perjalanan wisata pada tingkat lokal dan nasional.

8 semesters (4-7 years) | Study load: 144-160 credits | Title awarded: Bachelor of Applied Science in Tourism (S.Tr.Par).

Upon completion of this educational programme, graduates will have the following competencies:

Airlane Simulator Center

Layanan dokumen mulai dari penerbitan, perpanjangan hingga perpindahan SKP yang dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan kepada pekerja yang ditunjuk sebagai Koordinator Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di tempat kerja.

Reservation System Simulation Room

Ruang yang dilengkapi dengan komputer yang telah menggunakan system Sabre dan Galileo sebagai bahan pembelajaran CRS (Computer Revervation System)

Tourist Bus Simulator

Penyedia Bus Wisata dengan kapasitas 32 Seat digunakan mahasiswa untuk melakukan praktek penanganan tamu di dalam bus

Travel Simulator

Digunakan untuk praktek pelaksanaan pelayanan tamu yang akan membeli tiket atau paket wisata baik secara langsung, melalui sambungan telepon
