The Culinary Arts Study Programme is a Diploma 3 level education programme under the auspices of the Hospitality Department at the Makassar Tourism Polytechnic, a state-owned institution in Eastern Indonesia that has been accredited by BAN-PT with lecturers and teaching staff who are qualified at Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral levels and have experience both at home and abroad.
In order to produce students who are competent in the field of Culinary Arts, facilities and infrastructure of international standard are available in the form of a Kitchen Lab, Language Laboratory, IT Laboratory, Library, self-study rooms and Wi-Fi internet access.
Upon completion of this educational programme, graduates will have the competence to manage food processing operations.
6 semesters (3-4 years) | Study load: 110-120 credits | Title awarded: Associate Degree in Tourism (A.Md.Par).

- Using Information Technology in food processing.
- Overseeing the implementation of Hygiene, Sanitation and Occupational Safety.
- Entrepreneurship and job creation in the food processing sector.
- Reading and analysing reports.
- Communicating in English and
- Communicating in a Foreign Language. And others
