Tourism Destination Lecturers
Dr. Farid Said, M.Pd., is a senior lecturer at the Makassar Tourism Polytechnic (Politeknik Pariwisata Makassar), particularly in the Tourism Destination study program. His research interests are broad, covering CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environment), human resource development, hospitality education, cultural tourism, tourism policy, and tour & travel management.
In his teaching role, Dr. Farid covers key subjects such as tourism knowledge, risk management, human resource management, tour & travel management, and service psychology.
On the research front, he has made significant contributions through scholarly publications focused on tourism policy, disaster mitigation in tourist destinations, and the governance of marine tourism.
