Makassar, 3 October 2025 – The Makassar Tourism Polytechnic (Poltekpar) in collaboration with the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Tourism held an anti-corruption socialisation event at Balairung I Wayan Bendhi on Friday (3/10). This initiative aims to strengthen internal oversight, foster a culture of integrity, and support the development of an Integrity Zone towards a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) and a Clean and Service-Oriented Bureaucracy Zone (WBBM).
The event commenced with the reading and signing of the internal supervision charter by the Head of Department, Deputy Director, Head of SPI, and Head of SPM as a form of joint commitment to realising clean organisational governance.
In his speech, the Director of Poltekpar Makassar, Herry Rachmat Widjaja M.M.Par, CHE, emphasised the importance of optimal and efficient use of the budget. He reminded each unit to maintain accountability and transparency, while continuing to prepare supporting documents for the development of the Integrity Zone.
The socialisation material was presented by Suharto from the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Tourism, who highlighted the results of the Integrity Assessment Survey (SPI) and corruption prevention strategies through reporting systems, gratification control, and conflict of interest management. Meanwhile, Azmil Fiqri gave a presentation on Strengthening Anti-Corruption Oversight, including an understanding of corruption criminal regulations, types of gratuities, and the whistleblowing system mechanism within the Ministry of Tourism.
As a follow-up, all participants took an anti-corruption comprehension test to measure their level of mastery of the material. Through this activity, Poltekpar Makassar hopes to foster a culture of clean, transparent, and accountable work, in line with its commitment to freedom from corruption and excellent public service.
